Every monthly payment had to be checked, the customer classified and the invoice issued by hand, repeating the same task every cycle.

The automation finds the customer, identifies their type and creates the document in Factura Directa only after receiving a valid payment.

Solution in place
Automation with Zapier, integrating the client's existing tools: 1) Stripe → Factura Directa connection: when a successful payment is confirmed in Stripe, the system looks up the customer and generates the invoice automatically. 2) Automatic business vs. consumer distinction to apply the matching invoice format. 3) Invoices are only generated for confirmed payments, avoiding refund problems. We proposed two options: a 100% automated process (with a tax details form in WordPress) and a semi-automated one. The client chose the semi-automated option, with a plan to move to 100%.

Invoicing stopped being a monthly chore.
Confirmed payments now generate their invoices automatically, and the system is ready to add self-service capture of tax details.
